			Since 1991 I have cut timber for farms, estates, the Forestry Commission and private woodland owners, timber framers, boat builders, cabinet and musical instrument makers and people with just one tree down in the garden who want to remember it in a piece of furniture.



		We supply locally grown sawn timber – both hardwood and softwood – green and dry, boatskin larch and other boatbuilding timber, feather-edge and flat-sawn cladding (weather board), roof shingles etc..




			We also do specialist custom cutting for those needing such varied stuff as a tapered flag pole, a fifty-two foot mainmast, some structural veneer or a dozen eight-sided columns. Our 2010 Wood-Mizer LT40 “Super Hydraulic” sawmill can do it all. ‘Badly’ dried boards can be made into beautiful benches!

We will be able to offer kiln-dried timber and a kilning service in 2011.

In the meantime we can have timber kilned to order if required.

We need Scottish-grown round timber and are prepared to pay a good price for it. Oversize timber is a speciality.
